Psychology reinforces the value of reflection, highlighting the numerous benefits of reflective exercises. Reflection as a tool for growth in school support invites both students and staff to discover its academic and personal benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pivotal study involved splitting call centre operators-in-training into three groups. One reflected on their training for 15 minutes daily, one reflected on their training for 15 minutes daily AND discussed insights, and one did no reflection. Results highlighted that reflecting for 15 minutes <strong>daily improved productivity by 22.8%<\/strong>. This then increased to <strong>25% when insights were shared<\/strong> alongside this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In combination, the rich research that has been conducted on this topic has revealed many benefits to reflection:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-grid-wrapper gb-grid-wrapper-af1b7ab1\">\n<div class=\"gb-grid-column gb-grid-column-5dbb54b0\"><div class=\"gb-container gb-container-5dbb54b0\">\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Skill development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into strengths and weakness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge gap identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved critical thinking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-grid-column gb-grid-column-9cfbf374\"><div class=\"gb-container gb-container-9cfbf374\">\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhanced learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved understanding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved productivity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Of these positive outcomes, <strong>81% of participants could better identify their strengths and weaknesses<\/strong>. Moreover, <strong>85% could<\/strong> learn from significant incidents. The data suggests that most people can benefit from reflection, whether in their personal, school, or work lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><strong>81% of participants could better identify their strengths and weaknesses, and 85% could<\/strong> learn from significant incidents,<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflection as a tool for growth in school support utilizes this knowledge and applies it to students, maximizing their potential academically and personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How ECINS Can Help<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ECINS has developed various features that aid student, parent, and teacher reflection. Staff customize data points to ensure reflection is specific and next steps are accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Case Management Module + Student Engagement Module<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The CMM can be used to assess results and create treatment plans for improvement. The treatment plans can be set as tasks and goals in the Student Engagement Module. Our SEM is accessible via an app or web browser and allows students to understand what they are working towards.
