MASH Team Access on ECINS

Whenever anyone is worried about a child, for example a teacher or health visitor, they will make a referral to the team at the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

The MASH team is able to identify risks to and needs of children at the earliest possible point and respond with the most effective, joined up actions. The aim of the MASH is to make the right decisions for the right families at the right time so it is crucial for MASH to have access to the information on ECINS for them to make an informed decision.

As a secure system ECINS does not grant access to anyone automatically. With nearly 70 organisations totalling 110 teams on ECINS it is vital for safeguarding teams such as MASH to have access to relevant information.

Teams within Northamptonshire are regularly reminded to ensure they give the MASH team appropriate access whenever they add any profile to a gallery on ECINS.
