Northamptonshire Leads the Way
with Fully Integrated
Multi-Agency Neighbourhood Management Solution Across the County

Northamptonshire is fully committed to the utilisation of ECINS across the county which enables Northamptonshire Police, County, Borough and District Councils to work fully in partnership with multiple agencies and organisations. There are currently 67 organisations involved in the partnership with more joining each week.

Northamptonshire adopted the cloud-based system to facilitate multi-agency working and the secure sharing of information between the partnership organisations. The system can be accessed remotely via the internet on any device providing easy access to case management and negating the need for partner agencies to install specific systems or software to share information on joint case work.

Sheeba Stephen was appointed in 2014 as a dedicated ECINS Development Officer and tasked with improving connectivity within organisations and between partners. Sheeba’s role involves delivering training and a development plan in Northamptonshire. Across Northamptonshire the organisations involved in the partnership have signed an Information Sharing Agreement including schools, RSLs, 3rd sector and charity organisations, probation and health including Kettering General Hospital Safeguarding Team, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and NHS NENE NHS Corby CCG’.

Northamptonshire are using the system for a range of business areas including:
