Nottinghamshire KINS Case Study

Situation:

Nottinghamshire’s KINs program partners with key individuals who represent diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences. By sharing local knowledge, completing Community Impact Assessments, and acting as bridges between residents and authorities, these individuals help police understand concerns, respond meaningfully, and strengthen trust across the county.

Solutions:

Through communication with ECINS, the Nottinghamshire Police Department could explain the issues they faced and receive effective solutions.

ECINS provided customisable software to meet the needs of the Nottinghamshire Police Department and provide support where it had previously been lacking. Nottinghamshire’s community has received the benefits of the new system. Positive feedback has been given regarding the speed of updates about significant incidents. Furthermore, other positive feedback has also been received about recruitment drives, hate crime, crime prevention, etc.

The ECINS system has made the community feel safer and more informed.
